Dentsu APAC names Christina Lee chief technology officer
Prior to joining Dentsu, she worked for France-based luxury group Kering and cosmetics giant L’Oréal.
Advertising and marcomms agency Dentsu Asia Pacific has appointed Christina Lee as chief technology officer, effective 04 April 2022.
Lee will be responsible for shaping technology strategy, implementing solutions for business growth, and improving daily operations.
Lee has over two decades of senior leadership experience in information and digital technology. Prior to joining Dentsu, she worked for France-based luxury group Kering and cosmetics giant L’Oréal.
“I have ambition for technology to be a champion of change for brands and businesses,” she said after the appointment. “Dentsu values technology and innovation at the heart of its culture and I could not be more excited to be working together with this incredible, high-performing team of technology professionals."
Dentsu aims to partner with brands in more than 140 markets to stimulate their growth and unlock new opportunities through creative solutions. In Asia Pacific, the company expects advertising spend to grow by 5.9%.
Based in Hong Kong, Lee will report directly to Dominic Shine, Dentsu's global CTO, and will be part of both the global and Asia-Pacific senior management teams.
“Christina is a committed leader who is passionate about organizational design, understands the problems that will be faced during hyper-growth, and is energized by solving these problems,” Shine said.
Lee has a track record of consulting and comes with industry experience in strategy, business transformation, business partnership, and vendor management.
