Jasper AI appoints former Stripe, Salesforce executive as CMO
Jasper AI names Loreal Lynch as CMO, marking a significant step in its expansive enterprise growth strategy
In a strategic move to bolster its enterprise growth, Jasper AI, the AI marketing platform, has appointed Loreal Lynch as its chief marketing officer (CMO). Lynch, who brings two decades of B2B marketing experience, has previously held prominent roles at Stripe, Tableau, and Salesforce, and is well-versed in launching groundbreaking technologies and driving market strategies.
Jasper AI is a platform that provides AI-driven writing tools to help businesses create various types of content, including marketing copy, blog posts, and social media updates. It leverages artificial intelligence to generate text, assist with brand voice, and integrate across multiple platforms.
Loreal's arrival comes at a crucial juncture for Jasper AI, as the company intensifies its focus on expanding its platform to new markets and industries. Earlier this year, Jasper made headlines with the acquisition of AI-powered image editing platform Clipdrop and was named one of Fast Company’s most innovative AI companies of 2024.
The company's enterprise segment is witnessing rapid growth, with major marketing teams from Wayfair, Harper Collins, Cushman Wakefield, and WalkMe utilizing Jasper to enhance brand consistency, efficiency, and personalization at scale.
“Loreal shares my vision of redefining what great marketing looks like with generative AI,” said Timothy Young, CEO of Jasper AI. “Jasper empowers marketers to build differentiated brands and deliver impactful programs, doubling their return on investment without doubling team size. Loreal’s expertise in scaling innovative, transformative technologies makes her a perfect fit for Jasper’s next growth phase.”
Commenting on her new role, Lynch stated, “Generative AI has the potential to completely transform the way marketers work, but first, we need intuitive software applications to remove the barriers to entry and facilitate meaningful AI adoption.
Jasper has successfully introduced the industry’s first purpose-built marketing AI platform, driving results for marketing teams at an unparalleled scale across more than 100,000 organizations. I’m eager to dive in with our team and our customers to continue reimagining what great marketing can look like with the power of AI.”
Before joining Jasper, Loreal served as the global head of campaigns at Stripe, where she led demand, brand, and product marketing, contributing to significant enterprise growth, with over 100 companies processing more than US$1 billion in payments annually.
At Salesforce, she was instrumental in marketing the high-growth Einstein Analytics business and played a key role in launching Tableau as part of the Salesforce Customer 360 suite, later serving as Tableau’s global head of product marketing. Her extensive experience will be invaluable as Jasper defines its next phase of growth and customer engagement.
