Editors will need to be able to look at an aggregation of the latest top stories from a variety of fields (includes but is not limited to breaking news, politics, sports, technology, and more), hand-pick 20 of the most important headlines to showcase for the day, and write a short summary of each with an appropriate headline (~75 words per story).
Chosen editors will work two to three shifts per week, with the following details:
- 8 hours per shift
- Shift schedules: 06.30 - 14.30 EST and 14.30 - 22.30 EST, Monday to Sunday
- For each shift, the freelance editor will handpick and summarize 20 stories (~75 words a piece)
- Remuneration for each shift is ~US$176 (nett after ContentGrow's 10% take rate + 2% payment fees)
- Able to commit for at least six months
As a shift-based freelancer, you’ll work closely with the editorial team inside a Slack channel. You’ll be expected to respond to the team in real-time and be communicative during each shift.
Payments will be facilitated by the ContentGrow platform.
