This model, developed by Picsart’s AI lab and trained exclusively on Getty Images’ licensed creative content, will make it easier for users to produce unique, commercial-ready images without leaving the Picsart platform.

Getty Images is a provider of stock images, videos, and music, serving marketers by offering a vast library of licensed visual content. It helps marketers access a wide range of high-quality, ready-to-use media for their advertising, branding, and content creation needs.

Hovhannes Avoyan, CEO and founder of Picsart, emphasized the importance of having all necessary tools in one place for modern marketers. “Today’s marketers need to produce content 24/7 and they don’t want to leave Picsart to do it. Grant Farhall, CPO at Getty Images, echoed this excitement, noting that the partnership links Getty Images’ extensive creative library with the innovative capabilities of Picsart’s platform. “This partnership connects Getty Images’ vast creative library with the next generation of marketers and creators, empowering them with high-quality content for use directly within the Picsart platform,” said Farhall. He stressed the importance of commercial safety and respect for intellectual property rights in this collaboration.

Picsart’s AI lab, PAIR, is spearheaded by chief scientist Humphrey Shi, who stated that the team has been focused on developing safe and responsible generative AI solutions to meet the needs of Picsart’s 150 million active creators. The model will be accessible through Picsart’s API services, and Getty Images video content will also be integrated into the platform, offering high-quality motion content to Plus members. The release date for the new Picsart x Getty Images model is expected later this year.
